Biospecimen Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Biospecimen Management Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biospecimen management, laboratory operations, and technical support.
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our laboratory, including coordinating day-to-day technical support services, maintaining quality control protocols, and providing specialist advice to staff and students.
The successful candidate will be able to establish a positive laboratory ethos, influence team operations, and provide direct operational support to blood processing and biobanking teams.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position that is full-time and located at the Hunter Medical Research Institute. There is a possibility for extension.
