Firefighter Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community through effective prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as a member of a team, ensuring the safety of people and property.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
- Develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and training courses provided by the QFES.
- Maintain the required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities.
- Ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities.
- Contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.
