Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring any discrepancies are followed up on.
  • Vehicle Operations: Perform short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including re-fueling.
  • Guidance and Positioning: Guide and position trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Driver's License: Must hold a valid MR or HR driver's license.
  • Manual Handling: Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Appearance: Neat and tidy presentation.
  • Criminal History: Will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
  • Availability: Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
