Drainage Engineering Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drainage engineering services to support various projects across transport and defence markets.

About the Role:
  • You will manage and deliver local projects from strategy to detailed drainage design and delivery.
  • Communicate with internal/external stakeholders and assist in project delivery across various sectors.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, designers, and drafters; collaborate across engineering disciplines.
  • Apply your expertise in drainage engineering to contribute to project design and delivery in diverse markets.
  • Lead client-facing projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering & CPEng (highly regarded).
  • A strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication, and the ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and communicate with various stakeholders.
  • An appetite for fast-paced project delivery, and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience with drainage modelling and design packages such as DRAINS, HEC-RAS, RORB, XPRAFTS, URBS, 12d, MUSIC, GoldSim, IQQM, TUFLOW, etc.
  • A good working knowledge of ARR 2019, TMR Drainage Manual, and QUDM.
