You will develop key relationships with customers, become familiar with Cisco's Service Provider solution portfolio, and lead the technical engagement with critical Telco customers. If you love technology, this is the place to collaborate, consult, and think forward.
You will work with top Service Provider Customers in Melbourne and Sydney, part of a dynamic team that develops innovative solutions to help customers achieve their business outcomes using Cisco's Service Provider Technology portfolio. You'll join the strongest Engineering team in the industry, working alongside Account Managers, Sales Specialists, and the CX team who invest in your success.

We're looking for a Systems Architect with a strong background in Service Provider and one or more of our key technical pillars: IP/MPLS/SR Networks, Optical, Automation & Security. As a pre-sales technical role, you will partner with Account Managers and Executives, promoting and showcasing Cisco solutions. You'll need industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to customers, and crafting solutions to meet specific needs.
You'll gain access to Cisco technologies and applications in various vertical markets. In addition to technological proficiency and accelerated learning ability, you should have the latest skills, social, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills that evoke passion and confidence.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of networking and cybersecurity industry-related experience, Cisco product experience, or relevant experience in key competitor offerings. Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or equivalent
- 3+ years of technical pre-sales experience
- Solid experience with SP IP Transport Networks, underlying IP/MPLS or SR-MPLS or SRv6 technologies
- Working knowledge of SP Optical Transport Networks, Automation, and Assurance solutions
- Ability to deliver Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate end-to-end solutions' value
- Participation in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Strong analytical skills to assess and resolve problems with an effective course of action
It would be highly regarded if you have:
- A strong multi-domain ability across Service Provider Infrastructure eco-system
- Cisco Expert Certifications (CCDE / CCIE) or similar
- Network Programming skills
