Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Southern Animal Health & Melbourne Bulldog Clinic. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team in delivering high-quality medical and surgical services.
Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking bloods, and monitoring patients during and after surgery
* Maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
* Assist with reception duties, including handling client enquiries and booking appointments
* Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive patient care and support
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary techniques and best practices
Requirements:
* Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience
* Current driver's license and vehicle
* Ability to work a minimum of 38 hours per week, including one in three weekends and public holidays on rotation
* Strong communication skills and exceptional customer service
* Ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
