Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Commercial Mechanic to join our team at Recar Brisbane, a leading provider of heavy vehicle smash repair services.

As a Heavy Commercial Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.

Your expertise in diesel engines, mechanical systems, and diagnostics will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair damaged suspension parts and mechanical components
  • Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts
  • Perform quality control and inspection of vehicles
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards
  • Label and store parts according to workshop standards
  • Check new parts for correctness and damage
  • Perform adaptations based on completed diagnoses
  • Clean work bays and workshop areas
Requirements
  • Qualified Mechanic with experience in the heavy smash industry
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Desire to grow and build skills with an out-of-the-box approach
  • Good attitude and excellent communication skills
