Operate Production Equipment with Excellence
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator for casual positions in Melbourne. The role responsibilities include:
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure successful operation of production equipment.
- Meet daily production requirements to achieve Process Reliability (PR).
- Perform machine set ups, changeovers, and maintain flow of product through to packing.
- Maintain quality of products associated documentation according to specifications.
- Communicate with support departments including Quality, Maintenance, and Material handlers - escalate in case of deviations and issues.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Machine Operator in a food and pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Prior knowledge operating dry product fill lines is advantageous. Familiarity with HACCP and experience with Flow wrappers, Case packers boxing machines is also required.
Requirements
The candidate must be able to read and write English to complete quality checks and forms. Computer literacy and strong communication skills are essential. A team player with a fast learner mindset and continuous improvement approach is desired.
