About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Specialist to join our team at headspace Whyalla. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health services to young people aged 12-25.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of time-limited focused interventions for young people with mental health concerns in primary care.
  • Work collaboratively with a passionate and supportive team to provide timely services that meet the needs of young people and their families.
  • Effectively communicate with young people, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of holistic care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Specialist who possesses:

  • Undergraduate or graduate qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or Occupational Therapy with training in Mental Health, or Mental Health Nursing.
  • Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the applicable Australian Professional Association.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
