Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our business, supporting experienced department managers across all operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, hospitality and ideally retail experience, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional service and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across restaurant, functions, retail & wholesale
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality experience across all touchpoints
- Foster a productive, engaged, customer-first culture at every level
- Respond to feedback and maintain a strong community reputation
- Manage with Financial Controller budgets, forecasts & reporting
- Identify new revenue opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all hospitality, liquor, food safety, and WHS regulations
- Maintain venue and team certifications (e.g. HACCP, liquor licence, fire warden)
- Manage security, risk and emergency procedures as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in managing a hospitality and/or food retail venue
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- High standards of service, compliance and team performance
- Financial and operational management capability
- Comfortable in a dynamic, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in systems like Excel, POS, and rostering platforms
- Relevant industry certifications (or willingness to obtain): Food Safety Officer, Liquor Licensing (Approved Manager), Chief Fire Warden, First Aid
