Pool Safety Specialist

Lifeguards and gym attendants are responsible for the daily operation of pools and gyms in a military environment. They ensure safety, cleanliness, and excellent service for defence personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Opening and closing the gym and pool facilities
- Monitoring safety, responding to incidents with first aid and CPR
- Managing member sign-ins and IDs
- Supporting physical training instructors with setup and pack-down
- Maintaining equipment, loan items, and cleanliness
- Reporting maintenance issues and participating in stocktakes
Requirements:
- Current First Aid certificate and Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard certification
- Strong swimming ability (ability to touch 6m pool floor within 6 months)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
- Professional and reliable work ethic
- Willingness to undergo baseline security clearance
