Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Specialist to join our Service Team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and installing new or existing access control, CCTV, intercom, and duress systems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and fault finding of all security equipment
  • Preventative maintenance of existing sites
  • Installation of small/medium commercial projects
  • Commissioning of small to medium commercial projects
  • Quoting of fault repair works found on maintenances
  • Liaising with subcontractors during the commissioning of projects
  • Assisting the commercial projects team with new and existing works

Security Systems Expertise:

  • P2000, C-Cure, Lenel, Concept, Tecom Integriti Protégé WX-GX, and Gallagher
  • NVRs, DVRs, network switches, CCTV servers, HikVision, NX Witness, Hanwah, Genetec, Avigilon, and Milestone

Requirements:

  • Australian resident with valid QLD driving license, cable license, security license, and building industry induction card
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Key skills: interest in high-level and low-level networked systems, PC-related skills for day-to-day paperwork, and job-specific commissioning documentation
