Pre-Engineered Metal Building Cost Coordinator

The Pre-Engineered Metal Building Estimator will be responsible for estimating material and labor costs, ordering and coordinating deliveries of pre-engineered metal buildings and accessories.
">- Utilize supplier programs to estimate building package costs.
- Take quantities and develop self-perform labor and equipment costs.
- Purchase parts for insulated metal wall panels, liner panel, insulation, roofing, trims, doors, anchor bolts, etc.
- Coordinate with design teams to establish economical building layouts and details.
- Identify potential value engineering opportunities.
- Build relationships with suppliers that reflect company values.
- Coordinate with operations teams on deliveries.
- Analyze historical cost data for budgeting and rule of thumb checks.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of steel erection, metal siding, roofing and sheet metal work.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- An understanding of how estimating supports construction operations.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical training/field experience.
