Senior Coffee Specialist

We are seeking an experienced coffee professional to join our vibrant cafe in Melbourne.

  • This is a senior role for a highly skilled Barista who can make high volumes of specialty coffee under pressure while maintaining exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and serve specialty coffee to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service responding to feedback and concerns in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business goals and promote a positive work culture
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Barista in busy cafes and/or hospitality environments
  • Ability to make high volumes of coffee (5kgs to 7kgs) within 5 hours
  • Knowledge of all coffees and working with Grinders/coffee machine is essential
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment
