Job Title: Visiting Medical Officer

We are seeking an experienced professional in the field of Gastroenterology/Hepatology to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services at Canterbury Hospital.

This position involves providing clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases, as well as participating in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities under the General Medicine Department.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide diagnostic and consultative services in Gastroenterology/Hepatology.
    • Participate in educational activities, including training and mentoring junior staff.
    • Contribute to research projects and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Gastroenterology) is highly desirable.
