About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shovel Shutdown Supervisor to join our team in the Bowen Basin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient shutdown of our shovels, while also providing leadership and guidance to our on-site personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the shutdown of shovels in the Bowen Basin
  • Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel
  • Maintain a high level of safety within the workforce
  • Work closely with our projects division to ensure seamless execution of shutdowns
  • Develop and implement effective shutdown plans and procedures
Requirements
  • Experience in shutdown operations, preferably in the mining industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Current drivers license and mechanical trade qualification
  • S11 Induction, Coal Board Medical, and S123-G2 certifications
