Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the Bowen Basin. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on dragline and shovel equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dragline and shovel equipment
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify equipment issues
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient maintenance
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Relevant trade qualification and experience in mechanical fitting
- Experience working in a mining environment, preferably in the Bowen Basin
- Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment or BMA Core SOA
- Confined Space, GTA, and Working at Heights certifications
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
