**About This Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled dietitian to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in clinical nutrition, particularly in the management of diabetes and other chronic diseases.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and quality improvement initiatives. A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality dietary advice and guidance to patients with diabetes and other chronic conditions
  • To work collaboratively with healthcare professionals from various disciplines to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • To contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes within the Diabetes Centre
  • To participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in diabetes management and prevention

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia
  • Extensive experience in clinical nutrition, particularly in diabetes management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to operate professionally with minimal supervision, while also contributing to service management and quality improvement initiatives
