
Compliance Investigations Officer

The Compliance Investigations Officer plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of regulatory frameworks. This position involves conducting thorough investigations into alleged breaches of legislation, preparing investigation plans, and managing high-volume caseloads.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigative inquiries into alleged legislative breaches, including relevant Acts;
- Develop investigation strategies and oversee high-volume caseloads;
- Employ best-practice investigative techniques, encompassing offence elementisation, evidence matrix formulation, witness statement preparation, and records of interviews;
- Prepare evidential briefs for use in disciplinary, civil, and criminal proceedings;
- Deliver exceptional customer service to Commission staff and external stakeholders;
- Contribute to and support Regional Service Centre operations, including providing face-to-face services and assisting team members in delivering customer service;
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Investigation or equivalent qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Law);
- A minimum of three years' investigative experience;
- Knowledge or experience in government investigations or diverse regulatory environments;
