In this role, you will be responsible for conducting patient transfers while providing a high level of care. You will work closely with our dispatch team to ensure efficient and timely services for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient transfers in accordance with qualifications, scope, and authority to practice under our Clinical Governance framework.
  • Follow operational directions from the dispatch team to ensure an efficient and timely service for all customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of transfers using our bespoke customer booking system.
  • Assist with supervising student clinical placements.
  • Clean vehicles and complete associated checklists in accordance with our operating procedures.
About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires you to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays. You will be responsible for facilitating non-emergency patient transfers while providing a high level of care and support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or higher.
  • Certificate IV in Health Care, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, or Bachelor's degree in Paramedical Science are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Hold an unrestricted C-class driver's licence and drive safely and reasonably.
  • Have a current WA working with children check (or willing to obtain one)
  • A national police clearance to be obtained within four weeks of commencement date and commit to renewing every three years.
  • Be physically fit to provide patient transport services.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at $37-$52 per hour, depending on experience. This includes allowances for weekends, nightshifts, public holidays, and overtime.
