Industrial Automation Specialist Job

This role involves the installation and maintenance of automation systems in a factory setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing tasks according to design specifications or customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience with general tool room equipment, including surface grinders, chamfering grinders, drop saws, etc. They will also be highly motivated, results-focused, and able to pay close attention to detail.

In this position, you will be required to travel to external locations for job installations or troubleshooting and fixing, as per business requests. You will also perform tasks such as cutting, chamfering, polishing, and grinding for guide rails, ball screws, solid shafts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating timber packaging that meets product packing requirements and assisting in other areas and job functions as needed.

You will be expected to process and regularly update job progress, manage workload from various departments, and prioritize tasks in consultation with team leaders.

To be successful in this role, you will need to maintain a clear and safe working environment as required. You will also be required to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and take responsibility for the cleanliness and organization of the work area.

  • Proficient in operating general tool room equipment.
  • Highly motivated, results-focused, and able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
  • Organised and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Forklift license preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
