Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Strategy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and excellence.

Your primary focus will be on leading project work programs, ensuring the implementation of commercial frameworks and procedures, and monitoring performance against key performance indicators.

You will oversee the development, implementation, and management of commercial strategies and contract management frameworks for major projects, ensuring alignment with our overall commercial management framework.

In this role, you will participate in commercial and contract negotiations, ensuring arrangements deliver the expected levels of service, performance, and innovation.

You will foster a culture based on good governance, commitment to excellence, and high professional ethics, promoting transparency, communication, and trust within the delivery team.

You will provide strategic, operational, and contract management advice to project teams and stakeholders.

Additionally, you will implement project contract management frameworks and dispute resolution procedures aligned with industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, engineering, project management, law, or related fields.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for all organizational levels.
  • Experience in procurement, contract management, and major project commercial management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of contract law and various procurement strategies.
  • Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
