About the Role

The Principal Planner will play a critical role in maximizing the effectiveness of the Vice President – NSWEC. This will involve actively facilitating and preparing interactions upwards, across, and through the organization to maximize engagement and sponsorship for the NSWEC agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the VP- NSWEC in developing and implementing plans to solve complex problems and improve NSWEC's performance in support of our customers.
  • Provide an effective interface and facilitate information transfer between the VP- NSWEC and key stakeholders and peers to drive sponsorship and positive engagement.
  • Design and prepare communications as required, including performance reports for Executive and wider leadership teams.
  • Keep track of all Continuous Improvement and Business Plan initiatives and lead routines to monitor status.
  • Lead and/or support key improvement initiatives to solve complex problems and improve NSWEC's performance in support of our customers.
  • Develop reports and presentations on improvements, achievements, and strategies underway to get alignment with key stakeholders and management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated ability to extract and analyze information from BHP systems, apply critical thinking, clear decision-making, and have a collaborative and solution-focused attitude.

Interpersonal skills to communicate and build relationships across a large number of stakeholders and teams will be essential.
