About this role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Learning and Leadership Specialist. In this key position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Director in day-to-day operations and team development, mentoring and observing educators, and overseeing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Education Leader on pedagogy and curriculum design to ensure a high-quality learning experience for children.
  • Mentor and coach educators to enhance their skills and confidence in delivering engaging and inclusive programs.
  • Contribute to classroom teaching part-time to remain embedded in practice and inform instructional decisions.
  • Support the Director in leading the team, developing policies, and implementing procedures that promote a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
  • Proven track record of successful program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and community partners.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth, with a focus on staying current with best practices in early childhood education.
