Overview
We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Housekeeping Supervisor to enhance our dedicated team at Kingfisher Bay Resort, located on the stunning K'gari. This role requires a proactive leader with a solid background in effective team management and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist in the cleaning of hotel rooms and apartments.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in the administration and operations of the housekeeping department.
- Ensure compliance with cleanliness standards through supervision and execution of cleaning tasks.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in guest accommodations.
- Supervise and guide Team Leaders in their daily activities.
- Manage the disposal of laundry and waste, ensuring recycling practices are followed.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness protocols.
- Handle lost property with care.
- Execute tasks assigned by management.
- Promote safe manual handling practices.
- Organize staff schedules in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a housekeeping environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Prior experience in hotel or resort cleaning services.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional customer service capabilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Experience in motivating team members to achieve goals.
