Job Title: Visiting Medical Officer - Orthopaedic Surgery

The role of Visiting Medical Officer in Orthopaedic Surgery is a key appointment for our department. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic, consultative and surgical specialty services in Orthopaedics, with a focus on developing a Foot and Ankle surgical service.

  • Provide specialist orthopaedic care to patients with a range of conditions, including complex trauma and joint disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols within the Orthopaedic Department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent specialist recognition.
  • Recognised qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery.
