Job Overview
  • As a Reliability Specialist you will lead equipment asset integrity and reliability activities at our customer site at Maules Creek Mine Site.

Your main duties will include:

  • Reviewing proposed upgrades and work procedures to ensure current business site safety practices and requirements are included.
  • Providing technical advice to operations and maintenance teams on asset integrity activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assessing maintenance practices and monitoring refining maintenance plans and adding value to preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Leading projects as required to sustain or improve Hitachi Mining Equipment maintenance productivity performance.
  • Assisting in the management resolution of technical issues primarily with mining equipment when required.

About You

  • You should have experience with Mobile Equipment maintenance within the Australian Mining Industry.
  • A good understanding of component failure analysis and assessment knowledge is essential.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management engagement at operational levels is required.
  • Engineering qualifications in the relevant field would be preferred but not necessary.
  • Significant asset management experience in the Coal & Iron Ore open cut mining industry is highly valued.
  • Strong analytic strategic management relationship skills are essential for this role.
