Gewürzhaus is a family-owned retailer with a growing national network of stores and online sales.

We mill and blend bespoke spice, salt, sugar and tea blends for our self-scoop concept stores, supported by high quality home and gift wares.

About the Role

Our Assistant Store Managers deliver customer service and an incredible retail experience through genuine knowledgeable interactions.

The role involves supporting the Store Manager in maintaining quality standards across all aspects of store operation including stock management, visual merchandising, store presentation, daily tasks and achieving targets.

Maintaining a positive workplace culture through proactive leadership, engagement and effective organisation of their team is key.

This is a part-time position, working a set roster four days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • SUPPORTING THE STORE MANAGER IN MAINTAINING QUALITY STANDARDS ACROSS ALL ASPECTS OF STORE OPERATION
  • Maintaining a positive workplace culture through proactive leadership, engagement and effective organisation of their team
  • Driving standards, delivering feedback, and motivating their team to hit targets
Requirements

You are passionate about food & love retail. You have a positive, can-do outlook, you love to cook and know your way around the kitchen. Spice knowledge is a definite bonus.

Excellent communication, organisational and delegation skills are essential, as well as the ability to remain calm under stress and multitask with efficiency.
