Mechanical Graduate Role in Vertical Farming

We are seeking a Mechanical Graduate to join our team in the Vertical Farming category. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining facility infrastructure, composting areas, growing rooms, cold storage, and plant utilities.
You will work closely with the Engineering and Reliability Manager and broader Mernda team to support the maintenance of equipment, assist in updating plant design documentation, generate spare and stock lists, and participate in plant reliability and continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities:- Support the maintenance of facility infrastructure, composting areas, growing rooms, cold storage, and plant utilities
- Assist in updating plant design documentation
- Generate spare and stock lists for reliable plant operations
- Participate in plant reliability and continuous improvement projects
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering)
- Valid driver's license
- Possession of personal reliable transport with relevant insurances
- Ability to travel and work at different sites
- Able to commence the Graduate Program on February 9, 2026
