Multi-Hotel Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Hotel General Manager to lead the performance of three establishments within the same owner portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be primarily based in Novotel Melbourne South Wharf, located in the heart of South Wharf with easy access to the CBD and Southbank. The hotel features 347 accommodation rooms and suites, an all-day café, and a dining and bar experience.

As a Multi-Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high performance and quality operations across Novotel Melbourne South Wharf, ibis Melbourne Glen Waverly, and ibis Budget Melbourne Airport Hotels.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and improve hotel performance through effective monitoring and maximization of operational efficiency.
  • Culture Enhancement: Foster a positive work culture throughout all hotels by promoting engagement and Heartist values.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to increase revenue and develop strategies to drive performance.
  • Leadership Development: Support and develop hotel leaders to achieve individual and team goals.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record as a Hotel General Manager with success in driving business growth.
  • Strong abilities in operations, commercial, finance, and people management.
  • A high-level commercial and financial background.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Tertiary education in business or hospitality is desirable.
