Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing Transportation business. As a key member of our Geotechnical team, you will play a critical role in delivering geotechnical analysis and designs, managing production drawings, and preparing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver geotechnical analysis and designs that meet client needs and expectations
  • Manage the production of drawings and technical reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Take ownership of geotechnical design packages, ensuring program, technical quality, and delivery are met
  • Conduct site investigations and inspections to ensure project compliance
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members on geotechnical design and analysis matters
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Extensive years of experience in the geotechnical industry
  • Demonstrated site investigation experience
  • Significant years of experience in a design consultancy environment
  • High-level proficiency in geotechnical analysis and design software
  • Experience in designing structural foundations, soft soil stabilization measures, embankments, and slope stabilization measures
  • Excellent client-focus and ability to deliver to client needs
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to lead geotechnical teams, with good influencing, motivating, and delegation skills
