The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced or senior-level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will apply your expertise to a diverse range of projects, including the design of temporary and permanent foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, pavements, and integrated solutions for deep basements and tall buildings.
Your solid understanding of Australian Standards and local Victorian geotechnical experience will be an essential component of your role. You will work closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to develop effective geotechnical design solutions, prepare reports and specifications, and manage small to medium projects from inception to completion.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a Victorian-based engineering consultancy. You will have a strong technical background and analytical skills in foundation solutions, soil-structure interaction, deep excavations, retaining wall design and construction, and pavement design. Proficiency in using software packages such as Slope/W, Plaxis 2D & 3D, and Wallap is essential.
You will be a Registered Professional Victorian Engineer (RPEV) and have Chartered Status or be working towards it. Our ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
