Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to deliver high-quality child protection services that respect the culture and context of each child, young person, family, and community.

  • The role involves delivering accountable and collaborative integrated child protection services for complex cases.
  • Key responsibilities include undertaking strengths-based child protection practice including assessment, intervention, casework, and complex case management.
  • As a key member of our team, you will participate and contribute productively in forming culturally appropriate professional working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, children, young people, and families.
  • Fostering a culture and philosophy of quality frontline service delivery based on collaboration, cooperation, commitment to excellence, and professional ethics is essential.
  • Maintaining high-quality case records in accordance with departmental case management requirements is crucial.
  • Participating and contributing to a culture of continuous learning, training, and professional development to ensure practice knowledge and skills are contemporary and evidence-based is vital.
  • Contribution to continuous quality improvement strategies is also required.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to new and less experienced professionals in relevant child protection fields is an important aspect of the role.
