Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammography and other breast imaging procedures with minimal supervision. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery and provide training and mentorship to junior staff.


The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical skills, including Tomo/stereotactic biopsy and breast ultrasound. A Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) or ability to obtain within 12 months is essential, along with current registration with AHPRA & radiation safety licence. A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is also highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality mammography and assessment procedures
  • Conduct advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, VABB or breast ultrasound
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff
  • Maintain and monitor equipment, perform quality assurance checks
  • Engage across multiple satellite sites
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced clinical skills in mammography
  • Tomography/stereotactic biopsy or breast ultrasound expertise (ASAR accreditation)
  • Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Current registration with AHPRA & radiation safety licence
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
