About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee our skilled workforce and ensure top-quality tree planting and maintenance services for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of labourers and drivers to deliver exceptional tree planting and landscaping services.
  • Liaise directly with councils to coordinate services and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Work closely with Operations & Delivery Managers to manage current and upcoming projects.
  • Oversee daily operations, including task allocation, quality control, and progress monitoring.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed using asset management systems.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to your team, demonstrating technical skills as needed.
  • Ensure equipment is clean, in safe working order, and serviced regularly.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of necessary materials, such as herbicides, fertilizers, tree cages, PPE, and other essential supplies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to best practices development.

Requirements

  • Physically fit, energetic and self-motivated.
  • Experience in civil construction with hydro excavation/non-destructive digging (NDD) experience.
  • Knowledge of horticultural and landscaping techniques, including materials and equipment usage.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate challenges and deliver high-quality results.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to liaise with clients and manage teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • A current and valid driver's license and MR/HR Truck license.
