We are seeking an accomplished Senior Control Systems Professional to join our team.

Job Description

This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on challenging projects, travel internationally, and play a key role in building capability within the teams you work with.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems solutions for mining, mineral processing, and other projects. This will involve working closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and implement control systems solutions that meet engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Use broad knowledge and skills to resolve complex engineering problems.
  • Take ownership of control system aspects within projects, developing and reviewing project deliverables as required.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, fostering their professional growth within the company.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Engineering degree or similar tertiary qualifications.
  • A willingness to travel nationally and internationally, embracing diverse project landscapes.
  • Experience in mining and mineral processing projects/operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working independently on control systems project work.
  • Experience with generating and interpreting engineering documents, such as functional descriptions, alarm registers, C&E matrix, commissioning plans, and inspection test plans.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for seamless interaction with clients and team members.
