Key Role in Business Advisory

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Accountant to join our team, contributing their expertise in financial statements and tax returns.

About the Position
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for various entities and industries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough tax research, handling general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation, to support clients' needs.
  • Serve a diverse client base, providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and addressing individual client needs effectively.
  • Perform complex journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND COLLEAGUES THROUGH EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.
  • Provide development opportunities, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced team members as required, promoting growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards by participating in professional development activities and workshops.
About You
  • Possess Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Hold CA or CPA qualification, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Demonstrate professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting, showcasing ability to handle complex tasks and responsibilities.
  • Showcase professionalism, a client-focused attitude, and a desire to develop into a trusted business advisor through excellent prioritization, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and problem-solving with colleagues and clients.
