About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Vikings Sports Club. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our venue, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure staff and patrons adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Direct staff on shift and allocate breaks in accordance with operational requirements
  • Develop and maintain positive relations with members, including managing patron complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Oversee external contractors, security, and maintenance of facilities to ensure staff and patron safety
  • Reconcile till floats, ensure sufficient cash flow on shift, and verify and report any cash variations
  • Ensure functions are set, resources prepared, and staff briefed on the day's planned events
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role, with demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing team members
  • Extensive knowledge of operations over all departments in a club, including gaming and food and beverage services, and all relevant legislation
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Inspiring and influential leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing team members
  • RSA, RCG, Advanced RCG, Licensee, and Advanced Licensee competencies
  • First Aid Certificate and WWCC (or willing to obtain)
