About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consulting Engineer to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our technical division, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct civil infrastructure and building condition assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement site inspection, testing, and analysis plans to ensure accurate data collection
  • Provide materials durability assessments and planning to inform remediation strategies
  • Design and implement remediation specifications to ensure effective and efficient solutions
  • Develop and manage corrosion management and cathodic protection designs to protect infrastructure assets
  • Utilize digital delivery methods to provide condition assessments and defect management using 3D reality models
  • Prototype and trial innovative technology solutions to enhance value delivery to our company and clients
  • Develop and implement asset maintenance strategies to optimize infrastructure performance
  • Support our remediation contracting division to ensure seamless project delivery
About You

We are looking for a Professional Engineer with relevant experience in a similar role, specifically in the inspection and assessment of concrete/steel structures. You will have:

  • Business development experience with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and suggest solutions
  • Combined technical and practical experience to consult on asset condition and remediation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural or Materials Engineering, or related field
  • A current Australian driver's license
