We are seeking an experienced and skilled Parts Advisor to join our team at William Adams. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information regarding their parts needs.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering career growth and development opportunities. You will work closely with our Parts Supervisor and be part of a hardworking and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, responding to front counter enquiries and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Locate and provide Cat parts for customers and technicians, utilizing various digital and print resources.
- Follow up and action outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns.
- Perform system-based parts interpretation and ensure accurate and timely information is provided to customers.
- Assist with parts warehousing tasks, including receiving, order picking, and dispatch.
- Ensure company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions.
- Contribute to the operation of display areas and maintain stock cleanliness.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving and/or automotive.
- Exceptional communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Experience working on different kinds of systems/databases.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential).
