About the Role

 

As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants with mental health disabilities and providing tailored support to empower them to achieve their employment goals.

 

You will:
  • Deliver services using evidence-based practices such as the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model.
  • Support participants throughout their job search journey, including vocational profiling, resume preparation, interview coaching, placement, post-placement support, and ongoing assistance.
  • Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets by delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities and promote diversity in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with NDIS and community providers to ensure wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • Monitor outcomes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Celebrate participant achievements and foster resilience, confidence, and long-term success.
