We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Haematology Support Specialist. This role involves assisting with specimen processing and laboratory analysis according to established protocols.

Duties:

  • Receive and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Perform routine laboratory analysis following documented methods and priorities.
  • Maintain equipment and perform calibrations as per protocols.
  • Run QC and take actions as required.
  • Ensure general laboratory housekeeping and stock rotation.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in a diagnostic laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment and quality control requirements.
  • Good attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Basic computer systems and keyboard skills.
