Bookkeeping Professional Sought: We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to assume the role of maintaining accurate financial records for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate setup, collection, and processing of clients' bookkeeping data
  • Data entry and maintenance
  • Reconciliation, preparation, and review of BAS and IAS
  • Process Income Tax Return data entry and reconciliations
  • Liaise with clients regarding their financial information
  • Conduct training sessions with clients on Xero software
  • Assist in managing workflow processes, reporting, and scheduling
  • Review and update client files
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and claim depreciation as applicable
  • General administration and support functions

Requirements:

  • Experience as a bookkeeper within an accounting practice
  • Studies in bookkeeping or related field would be highly regarded
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced payroll knowledge and understanding
  • Solid comprehension of financial statements, BAS returns, and bank reconciliations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with Xero software
