About Pathology Queensland is a leading provider of diagnostic pathology services across the state.

It offers laboratory services in anatomical pathology, chemical pathology, haematology, immunology, microbiology, and genomics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and handling biological specimens with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Following standard precautions to ensure patient safety at all times
  • Working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of quality
  • Communicating effectively within a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Providing exceptional patient care within a hospital setting
  • Maintaining a commitment to quality management and continuous improvement principles
  • Participating in a dynamic working environment that supports human resource management practices

This role requires flexibility with shift arrangements, including weekends and public holidays. Successful applicants will be contracted to work any rostered shift within a 7-day period.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Pathology Specimen Collection is highly regarded

Vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment. Employees must also be vaccinated against one or more vaccine-preventable diseases during their employment.
