Job Overview
  • The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of night operations, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional service and safety standards.
Responsibilities
  1. Strategically manage front office and hotel operations to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  2. Act as the property manager's representative at night, addressing guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  3. Directly handle critical overnight tasks, including arrivals, departures, and financial reconciliations.
  4. Monitor staff performance, enforce policies, and promote service excellence aligned with brand standards.
  5. Proactively resolve guest complaints, achieving lasting resolutions that foster customer loyalty.
  6. Develop strategies to drive team performance, motivate staff, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  7. Oversee inventory, supplies, and safety protocols to ensure a secure, efficient environment.
  8. Minimize financial loss by analyzing chargebacks, rebates, and discrepancies, enforcing cash-handling procedures.
  9. Analyze operational trends to identify areas for improvement, working collaboratively with leadership to implement corrective action plans.
About You
  • Previous experience in front office management in a 5-star hotel is required.
  • Proficiency in OPERA Property Management System or similar software is essential.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is highly valued.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically are necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to support team performance growth.
  • A valid driver's license, RSA certification, and first aid certification are mandatory.
  • Full working rights in Australia are required.
  • Enthusiasm to escalate your career in luxury hospitality is desirable.
