**About the Role**
This role will support the Environmental Manager in delivering efficient and safe operation of Wastewater Treatment, including education of operators, quality monitoring and reporting, system reviews, continuous improvement, maintenance planning, safety risk assessments, and contractor management.
You will be expected to lead the Wastewater management team, perform regular inspections alongside troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions as needed. This role will also see you coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams and assist with training of other members on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Qualifications in Engineering/Science related degrees or equivalent.
- Understanding of Water and Wastewater treatment techniques.
- Experience in process knowledge and operating SCADA/HMI systems.
- Competent in full use of Microsoft programs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across the business.
- Knowledge and understanding of QA, environmental risk, and management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly around varying shift patterns.
