About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Process Engineer (Water and/or Wastewater) to join our fast-growing Water Infrastructure team in the ANZ region. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in planning, design, project delivery, design management, and project management, while also assisting in positioning and winning projects across a range of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technically excellent designs and consultancy services for water and wastewater projects.
  • Lead project delivery on cost and time, ensuring client satisfaction and meeting project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong key client relationships, fostering a culture of collaboration and trust.
  • Represent the team at client meetings and events, promoting Jacobs' expertise and services.
  • Assist in driving business development and winning work, identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Jacobs' client management team to identify emerging opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Further develop Project Manager and Project Director skills, taking on increasingly complex projects and responsibilities.
  • Maintain compliance with Jacobs' QA procedures, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to industry standards.
  • Facilitate the technical development of junior resources, mentoring and guiding them in their own technical growth.
  • Promote an inclusive and safety culture within the organisation and with our clients, upholding Jacobs' values and commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Chemical/Environmental engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive water and/or wastewater process engineering experience, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent task, design, and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding technical communication and report writing abilities, with a strong focus on clarity and concision.
