ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee a team of 8 accountants while managing your own portfolio of clients from inception to completion.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships.
- Supervise the preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, and Business Activity Statements for various entities including Individuals, Corporations, Trusts, and Partnerships.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients regarding specific transactions.
- Guide and mentor junior accountants within the team.
- Address IT-related issues, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders extensively.
- Assist other Managers and Directors in achieving their objectives, including undertaking complex assignments for Directors.
- Review job budgets, monitor Work In Progress (WIP), and ensure compliance with the firm's workflow protocols. Approve fees with detailed narratives reflecting a commercial perspective.
- Possess strong technical knowledge in tax matters relevant to the SME sector.
