We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. This is a leadership role that requires a strong passion for working with vulnerable members of the community and a desire to share knowledge and inspire junior clinicians.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Provide complex therapeutic interventions to support participants in achieving their goals.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior clinicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Behavioural Support Practitioners to deliver comprehensive services to participants.
- Registration and Qualifications: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Passion and Commitment: A passion for working with vulnerable members of the community and a desire to share knowledge and inspire junior clinicians.
- Collaboration and Communication: The ability to work collaboratively with a large multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with participants, families, and other stakeholders.
