Caregiver Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide support to individuals in aged care and disability settings in Toowoomba, QLD. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those in need, ensuring their living spaces are clean, comfortable, and conducive to their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes or in a community setting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Assist with household chores, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Fully insured car/vehicle
  • Possession of a NDIS Screening Check or Yellow Card
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Paid Experience
  • Proof of Working Rights (AU Birth Certificate/Passport or International Passport)

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate starts at $34.00 plus superannuation (depends on experience and qualifications)
  • You can pick the shift you want to work or be part of a rostered shift.
  • Be assigned to longer and ongoing shifts after consistently taking short shifts.
  • Pay rates can be negotiated at a higher pay rate within 3 mons - 6 mons.
